Hunter Stockton Thompson was born on July 18 in 1937, in Kentucky in the U.S. He was an American journalist. He was also the founder of the Gonzo Journalism Movement. Thompson attended I.N. Hunter Thompson is best known for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1971), a book first serialized in Rolling Stone. His prominence was felt with the publication of Hell's Angels in 1967, a book. He spent a year living and riding with the Hells Angels motorcycle club to write a first-hand account of the lives and experiences of its members.

He was interested in sports and athletically inclined from a very young age. His later works include The Great Shark Hunt (1979), Better Than Sex (1994), and Kingdom of Fear (2003).
