About Father's Day
The day is dedicated to the real heroes of every life who have always tried to become best friends with their son and support their daughter. They are none other than our father. Fatherhood plays a vital role in each child's life. The ones who are like coconut are hard from the outside and soft from the inside. They wholly devote themselves to look after their children's needs and wants. Their parental bond with children is beyond words, or their bond is nameless, which cannot be given just a name.
For sons, fathers are like their arms, and for daughters, they are like the back who always support when they fall. They are to be called pillars who always stand tall and protect from storms that are on the way. A father knows when his children need him, what to do in a situation and how to save them from it. The quality of compassion towards a child's life is what makes him a good father. They are the only ones in a family who accomplish their expectations plus their children's also. That's why they are the superheroes of their family. They work hard to complete their child's dreams and goals. Fathers are adroit when it comes to a child's life.
History of Father's Day
The mining accident of the US firmly assures Grace Golden to honour lost lives as Father's Day, but unfortunately, this proposal was rejected. The Eastern people decided the second Sunday of their forefathers to commemorate their ancestors.
Back in 1915, Harry.C.Meek also chose the third Sunday of June and renamed his Lion's club as "Originator of fathers day " and officially announced it Father's Day and National holiday.
In Catholic Europe, a feast day of St. Joseph, who is furtherly known as Nourisher of Lord, has celebrated his fatherhood on 19th March since the early 15th century.
Father's Day was firstly found in the US by Sonara Smart Dodd. Her father was an unselfish single parent who nurtured his siblings with honesty and empathy. In 1910, this graceful woman spoke to Spokane, praising her father's love and convincing him for father's day as same as Mother's Day. As a result, the church chose June's third Sunday as an honour for father's sacrifice, struggle, and profound love to be celebrated as Father's Day. They make selfless efforts for children to have a good, healthy and wealthy life.
