Yoga is not a physical activity more than that. It maintains our body and mind simultaneously. Provide calmness and state to bring reality which every person should maintain to perform an action. Nourish our well being and fight to be fit. Fulfilling one's sense of being one's self. We all should adopt yoga day to day life. We celebrate on 21 st June every year. This day is also known as the summer solstice. Therefore, decided to celebrate a long day as international yoga day. There are different kinds of yoga poses that benefit in different ways. It's like in aspects of flexibility: bow poses for improving back flex, warrior 1 for flexibility in hips and core muscles. Yoga poses for runners would be low lunges for building stamina and developing glutes, seated forward bend to strengthen whole back muscles and many more for it. There are certain levels in yoga for every age to the point we decide to start yoga, in simple words, it has beginners level, moderate level and then at end advance level but it doesn't stop we keep learning more in it. 

How is International Yoga Day Celebrated? 

Yoga is for self, to self and through self. In the deep breathing process, when you inhale, you take strength from God, you exhale, you help once to live. We perform activities that raise yoga that include trying different poses, engaging to learn something fresh and new, joining yoga classes to motivate you and inspire others to do so. International yoga day is celebrated through various themes of each year as the following are :

2018: event was held at Dehradun. Nearly 50000 volunteers were hired to celebrate International yoga day, and it was the fourth anniversary as it started in 2015. Average 100000 attend the gathering to perform the yoga for peace theme of yoga. 

2019: Many parts of India celebrated the day, but the main was Ranchi, where India's prime minister addressed the important and most of yoga for peace and harmony. The theme was 'Yoga for heart'. 

2020: Amid the pandemic, not much was conducted as the usual theme was given as ' yoga at home and with family ' to feel safe and secure. 

2021: Online face to face events were held by the United Nations though of the pandemic. Basically, the theme was ' yoga for well being ' . 

When is International Yoga Day Celebrated? 

All over the world, it is celebrated on 21st June, but few celebrate it, but each and every person performs yoga as it is a basic exercise which has all in one it could be replaced by cardio, stretching and many forms of other exercise. We did not have to dedicate all day to yoga but a few minutes to be fit. One day wouldn't make any sense, but we have to do at least three months, 10 minutes a day, to see results.
