Introduction of Kargil Vijay Diwas

History of Kargil Vijay Diwas

• Before the Kargil War, India and Pakistan had fought another conflict in 1971, which resulted in Bangladesh's formation.
• On May 3, 1999, a few local shepherds observed significant sports in the foothills of Kargil, and this became the first Intel of the conflict. It was later discovered that the hobby was accomplished with the help of Pakistani troops and terrorists.
