Introduction of World Population Day

World Population Day is to be celebrated on the 11th of July. Its main focus is to raise the issues related to the population. The United Nations established it, according to the five billion days as many interested people participated at the moment in 1982. If you live a comfortable life with your family and friends, you don't have population issues as much. However, the more the people, the more they have neither food nor fabric. People are doing great to keep up with the population's rate, and they are taking care of the wants and trends. Simultaneously with the growth of population, climate changes have a major impact on the lives of the people. With that, the gap between the rich and poor is the problem. Poor are getting poorer, and rich are getting richer. So these discriminations are due to overpopulation in society. This day influenced the people to take the initiative to slow the growth rate of the population shortly, which is damn important in this overly populated world. All is that in now world, all are seeing their great-grandkids which are good to grow the relationship, but ultimately it's affecting the most in the continuous growth rate of population. Thesesebig disparities are due to lack of education and knowledge about sex education as one-third of the population has unplanned pregnancy through which population tower is touching the sky and census are reaching an unexpected level. This day well reminds us we should leave our comfort zone and need to step out to solve these matters as we, the people of the nation, it's our duty to save all from these kinds of issues.

History of World Population Day

It was the day we acknowledged the number of population that comes out with five billion people in the world. Hence the annual date was 11th of July in the year 1987. From that date till today, population issues have increased from all corners of every country. Each person is facing various problems, be it equality issues, family planning, or other human rights concerns. In 1989 world population day was established by the United Nations Development Problem - UNDP. The interested people celebrate this day with five billion people and inspire us for a holiday. Officially, it was announced in December 1990 under a resolution of 45/216 by the United Nations General Assembly. Overpopulation is a global question due to more difficulties occurring. Resources are depleting, insanity and nature are being overused. Awareness about unplanned family issues needs to be declined. Gender discrimination is mostly caused by the fast growth of urban areas, leading to obvious heinous crimes. Reasons are not going to overcome these concerns, but reasons spread the cause of awareness, so that's why we should point them out. It's directly affecting the unwanted problems in society. It could likely be child labour, human trafficking and child marriage.

Significance of World Population Day

The world is of people for people and by people. We couldn't decline that fact. But everything has limitations for reasons, and this thing has not been in control since we humans were made. If we talk about 1804, we have at least 1 billion people, then after the century, which means in 1927, the number of counts reaches 2 Billion the humans who lived all over the world. The growth took its place and reached a third billion in 1960. The holiday was recognized after 1989 by the United Nations. Double its growth in just 40 years, from 3 billion to 6 billion of the population in 2000. On the 24th of April 2017, the estimated population was 7.5 million. It is celebrated to empower both genders about sexuality. Delay marriage until they understand their responsibility and acknowledge all that happens in family planning. Youth should be friendly about these matters to avoid unwanted pregnancies and protect themselves from these issues. The stereotype problem should be over in societies to bring equality in the world.

How is World Population Day Celebrated?

Make sure of sexually transmitted diseases to avoid the infection and spread. Prevention is a must. Easy access to reproductive health services should be available as it's part of a couple's life. Primary education should be compulsory for both genders, for girls and boys. There is a campaign every year that spreads knowledge and skills for people worldwide. Encourage the people to take part in it and raise awareness about issues faced by overpopulation. Especially aged group between 15 and 19 wants to know what's happening and what is correct. They should know their responsibility for reproductive health.

When is World Population Day Celebrated?

This issue is not for individuals but for groups of individuals to solve the concern. But individuals can do whatever and reach the solution. It's celebrated on the 11th of July, which is an official holiday by the United Nations but in fewer countries. Issues like poverty, human rights, contraceptive use, condoms, girl child, and safety measures should be taken. The problem is not for only one day, it's all for 365 days, so awareness should be spread every day in a year.
