As a person who grew up in a border town, it is important to me that I use my education and my art to tell human stories of an otherwise neglected and marginalized community.

Work, work, work. I like to keep myself busy. I start to get a little stir-crazy during downtime. That's when I turn to working out - running, hitting the gym, etc.

I decided to focus on the things I could control and let go of the things that were out of my hands. That lesson has provided me with great relief; it has brought great things into my life.

I'm also inspired by great art and people who create and contribute rather than destroy.
