Before I knew how to do anything, I was figuring out how to be in a band.

I always go through different phases of how I write and record. It takes me a long time to kind of conceptualize what feels right.

It's fun to look backwards and be like, "Oh, this song never really worked live before but now it will sound cool with this lineup."
