Collision with the Infinite: A Life Beyond the Personal Self

When asked Who I Am, the only answer possible is: I am the infinite, the vastness that is the substance of all things. I am no one and everyone, nothing and everything -- just as you are.

Suffering occurs when something is taken for what it's not , rather than for what it is.

To see things for what they are is to see with the eyes of the vastness itself.

There is a love of wild nature in everybody, an ancient mother-love showing itself whether recognized or no, and however covered by cares and duties

Controlling unwanted thoughts is not the problem. Believing, thrusting, and taking direction from them is.

How do we get our values so mixed up? We look for shortcuts to happiness. Our lust for immediate pleasure prompts us to think of evil as good.

We are citizens who love to fake life than dig deep into our reality to discover the truth and make amends and correct our own wrongdoings, because we are reluctant to learn from our past.

The body is like a companion, a friendly pet that follows one around...One can continue to own the body and be responsible for it without identifying with it as one's identity.

Our future depends on how we understand the past.

There have been times in my life where I was asked to do things and I didn't feel comfortable with it.
