I can't understand how anyone is able to paint without optimism. Despite the general pessimistic attitude in the world today, I am nothing but an optimist.

In nature, light creates the color. In the picture, color creates the light.

The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.

Art is to me the glorification of the human spirit, and as such it is the cultural documentation of the time in which it is produced.

I like being the underdog so they don't expect what's going to happen. It pushes me to work harder and do the things I'm not doing better.

I love telling stories and acting and entertaining people. I don't want to make fun of people.

It took me several years to figure out who I am and a few more to accept what I discovered. Now, I'm in the enjoyment stage of that process and it's a happy place.

Our German forefathers had a very kind religion. They believed that, after death, they would meet again all the good dogs that had been their companions in life. I wish I could believe that too.

I want a baby and I want a family, for sure.
