I cook for a living; I'm not a scheduler.

Put your head down and work hard. Never wait for things to happen, make them happen for yourself through hard graft and not giving up.

Chefs are nutters. They're all self-obsessed, delicate, dainty, insecure little souls and absolute psychopaths. Every last one of them.

Swearing is industry language. For as long as we're alive it's not going to change. You've got to be boisterous to get results.

I'm on a constant path of self-discovery and change. I'm trying to become a better person, a nicer person. I love therapy - it's brilliant.

People will always tell stories. The publishing industry might vanish, but not stories.

That being said, I am not one to feel sorry for myself. I believe it is healthy to honor one's feelings and do the best we can to learn and grow from them moving forward.

And you try to quiet your mind so you can hear.
