I grew up in beautiful Carmel, California, and I have extremely sweet parents that always loved nature and animals. They instilled such an appreciation for beauty and kindness that it was inherent.

I'd like to be remembered for being a good-hearted soul that left this planet better than I found it.

My main message to folks who love animals is that you can do something every day to help them.

I always felt that with luxury came cruelty. I do my best to live a happy, prosperous life, but I don't indulge in a lot of luxury.

Being surrounded by nature and animals always kept me grounded and happy.

It's easy to just see what you want to see in your own comfort bubble, but to really get out there and experience the suffering of animals is an awakening. I had to become proactive and take a stand.

Spreading the word about real issues is still helping. Just being conscious of helping animals every day will help guide you to make beneficial decisions for animals.

The word is my weapon. FIRE!

The one who is worthy of worship by people has no desires. The one who is unworthy of worship has desires.

God Himself even "forgets" the wickedness committed by those whom He has forgiven. That's why it is never too late to clean up your life.

I think you have to remember that writing is hard; my first editor used to say that to me.

People create their own questions because they are afraid to look straight. All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk.

From a certain point onward there is no longer any turning back. That is the point that must be reached.

We all make the mistake thinking that how you look makes you more worthy of love.

I love good and pleasure, I hate evil and pain, I want to be happy and I am not mistaken in believing, that people, angels and even demons have those same inclinations.

I was born in 1949 - which seems like a long time ago... Actually, it is a long time ago, when I think about it.

Plausibility is a trap for the truth laid by lies.
