I just turned 66, and I'm starting to work again.

So it's like starting over again, but I look forward to the challenge.

I've had disappointments and heartbreaks and setbacks and roles I didn't get, but something always came along that either made me better or was an even better role.

My fiancee and I recently eloped. We went on a fabulous honeymoon to Europe, and I was able to see and do everything I wanted without worrying about taking it easy.

I've never seen a schedule where you just go in two hours almost every day of the week and then all day on one day. Then you shoot it at night with an audience and you're out of there.

I got kind of burned out, so I moved to Florida. I was down there for 10 or 12 years, raising children.

I have done a series in the '60s, '70s and '80s.

And about in the late '80s, I got kind of burned out a little bit.

I learn the whole script before I show up.

I've never minded my kids watching any of the series I did. That's important to me

I figured my body always would be able to repair itself. I think all of us believe that - until you begin to age and get hit with deteriorating joints.

The work is plentiful but the labours are few.

It's hard to watch your life unfold, and sad. Life changes.

No couple buying wedding rings wants to be reminded that someday one of them will have to accept the other one's ring from a nurse or an undertaker.

We all have hometown appetites. Every other person is a bundle of longing for the simplicities of good taste once enjoyed on the farm or in the hometown left behind.

I am very proud of the quality of public education in Nebraska, but I believe we have an obligation to continually assess whether our system is meeting 21st Century education needs.

Never compete, create.

I'm a patriot, and I think democracy is the best system available. It's very flawed, but it works better than anything else.

Compromise yourself. Obscure your own trail.

Definitely in voice-over, you have to be completely uninhibited. More than that, you have to put yourself back into the enjoyment of pretending.
