I've always wanted to improve on the idea of living well, In moderation, wine is good for you - mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Wine to me is passion. It's family and friends. It's warmth of heart and generosity of spirit.

I say to consumers: instead of relying totally on critics, drink what you like and like what you drink.

Even more importantly, it's wine, food and the arts. Incorporating those three enhances the quality of life.

My path was simple: Follow your passion. Pour in your heart and soul. Settle for nothing less than excellence. And with enough hard work and faith in yourself, you can realize your dream.

I always knew that food and wine were vital, with my mother being Italian and a good cook.

I want to make wines that harmonize with food - wines that almost hug your tongue with gentleness.

I feel blessed. So many men and women search and search but never find their passion, their calling, their sense of mission that would ignite their hearts and fill their lives with meaning and joy.

In both life and work, stay flexible. Whether in a country, a company, or a family, the same holds true: Dictatorship and rigidity rarely work. Freedom and elasticity do.

Wine has been with civilized man from the beginning.

I love the casting process. It's a cliché but I think it's the most important part of the process. I really enjoy it too. I love putting that jigsaw puzzle of people together.

I used to make all my clothes when I was in Southern Death Cult [the first incarnation of The Cult]. I still make things to wear on stage and I am involved with sketching, choosing fabric, cutting.

I spend most of every day writing. I like to write every day if I can. I don't start extremely early.

I raised my prices since there wasn't any competition it was just the smart thing to do. Why would I keep my prices up if their wasn't anyone to beat?

When I think back to 2005, the fast growth markets - what we call the fast growth markets - were probably ten percent of our business. They are now 31 percent.
