That's the true genius of America: that America can change. Our union can be perfected. What we've already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow.

You can’t let your failures define you. You have to let your failures teach you.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.

Keep exploring. Keep dreaming. Keep asking why. Don’t settle for what you already know. Never stop believing in the power of your ideas, your imagination, your hard work to change the world.

When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk.

Just because we have the best hammer does not mean that every problem is a nail.

Change is never easy, but always possible.

Don’t ever let anybody tell you that your efforts don’t matter or that your voice doesn’t count. Don’t ever believe that you can’t make a difference. You have.

If somebody is different from you, that's not something you criticize, that's something that you appreciate.

Those who love God with their minds, even if it gives them a headache, are those whose hearts stay on fire.

Regardless of how far we have come, we are still looking for answers. While many are being answered, what we really want to know is how we can make our lives better.

I was always the funny guy. Everyone wants to hang out with the funny guy.

Everything is a reenactment. We are reenacting the world in the mind. The world is not inside there. It does not reside in the gray matter of the brain.

We read fantasy to find the colors again, I think. To taste strong spices and hear the songs the sirens sang.

You have to stick up for what you believe in. And that, to me, is the biggest thing you can do about driving inclusion.

I go out as a missionary not that I may follow the dictates of common sense, but that I may obey that command of Christ.

Just do what you like to do, and do it all the time.
