To jazz, or not to jazz, there is no question!

Every time I close my eyes blowing that trumpet of mine, I look right into the heart of good old New Orleans. It has given me something to live for.

Musicians don't retire; they stop when there's no more music in them.

I got a simple rule about everybody. If you don't treat me right - shame on you.

If I don’t practice for a day, I know it. If I don’t practice for two days, the critics know it. And if I don’t practice for three days, the public knows it.

Each man has his own music bubbling up inside him.

And I think to myself what a wonderful world. Oh, yeah.

Getting angry is not bad

Sometimes, people don’t need our monies and our treasures. All they need is our encouragements to give them hope.

The night is Ours. Rejoicing in the ethereal realms where We are kings. Blessed souls of forgotten immortality. They fear Us in every grasp.

The most necessary learning is that which unlearns evil.

No nation deserves freedom or can long retain it which does not win it for itself. Revolutions must be made by the people and for the people.

When a player gets to 30, so does his body

Original visions are often wrong. Companies have to morph as they learn what customers don't want.

The news is what it is. It's going to be good, it's going to be positive, it's going to be negative. It's going to have all sorts of effects on candidates always.

I have a magpie mind. I like anything that glitters.

When we direct our thoughts properly i.e. 'Things could be worse but aren't', we can control our emotions... i.e. and feel relieved, grateful, satisfied, hopeful and happy
