We talk about freedoms for African-Americans but unless you have more than one option politically, how free are you?

This being Black History Month, I would like to ask people to celebrate the similarities and not focus on the differences between people of color and not of color.

I was not a very good football player when I started out.

When I was in college there was a girls' flag football league. The girls were extremely aggressive.

I took several years of dance lessons that included ballet, tap and jazz. They helped a great deal with body control, balance, a sense of rhythm, and timing.

I believe that today's players who are Christians feel that it's important and their responsibility to acknowledge their faith.

Very often we see coaches who have not been successful being recycled, instead of looking to a new face or a new name who has demonstrated the ability to handle the job.

If a player demonstrated that he is the best, and a team decides, even so, we don't want to pay him, as in any other business, he should be able to play elsewhere.

Man, like the generous vine, supported lives; the strength he gains is from the embrace he gives.

We need to be reminded that there is nothing morbid about honestly confronting the fact of life's end, and preparing for it so that we may go gracefully and peacefully.

In the old days it was called voodoo and they stuck needles in dolls, now it's called acupuncture and they stick the needles straight into the person.

I love hecklers. They remind you that you are a comedian.

I like Mexico. I love the Mexican people. I do business with the Mexican people, but you have people coming through the border that are from all over. And they're bad. They're really bad.

But what I want most of all is a normal life.

Where do we come from? What are We? Where are we going?

You talk to the farmers, the ranchers, our small community bankers, and boy, one of the No. 1 issues is the regulations coming out of Washington.

The admiration of power in others is as common to man as the love of it in himself; the one makes him a tyrant, the other a slave.
