What a tribute this is to art

Like the darkness of night, difficult times don’t last.

Rich kids who write songs about food stamps always piss me off. I'm not going to write any songs about that, either.

If you don't allow yourself the possibility of writing something very, very bad, it would be hard to write something very good.

This applies to many film jobs, not just editing: half the job is doing the job, and the other half is finding ways to get along with people and tuning yourself in to the delicacy of the situation.
