Go with the wind, you know, like a sailboat. I think that's really important when it comes to peace… inner peace especially. You can't help anyone else if you don't have it together for yourself.

Life only gets harder, but you gotta get stronger.

I stopped looking at people's opinions. It's easy to get caught up in what other people think.

Suffering is optional. You’re gonna have some pain but it doesn’t have to make you suffer.

I don't want to blame it on not having a father figure in my life, but that has a lot to do with it too.

I'm presently incarcerated. Convicted of a crime I didn't even commit. Hah! "Attempted murder"? Now honestly, what is that? Do they give a Nobel prize for attempted chemistry? Do they?

I took my writing seriously, and it seemed to pay off.
